Cookies and localStorage are different
Cookies are small values a browser can send back to a website with requests. localStorage is a browser storage mechanism that scripts on the same origin can read; it is not automatically included with every request. Both can remember preferences, so both deserve clear explanation.
The supplied site code does not set cookies and does not include analytics, advertising or cross-site tracking scripts. It uses localStorage only to remember a storage preference when you make a choice. The contact tool does not store message fields there.

Your storage preference
There are currently no optional trackers to enable. Accept records permission for optional storage; Essential Only records that optional storage should not be used. Neither choice adds tracking to this version of the site, and both leave the reading guides available.

Change or remove a choice
Return to this page from the footer’s Cookie preferences link and choose again to replace the saved value. To remove it entirely, clear site data for junglevaultbambo.sbs in your browser. Clearing all site data may also remove preferences set by other services on the same origin.
Blocking localStorage prevents the preference from persisting but does not prevent you from reading the site. The page reports a storage error if it cannot save your selection.
