Privacy policy

Site visits and technical information

This is a static informational site. Its supplied code has no account system, advertising tracker, analytics library, embedded social widget or remote contact submission service. Pages, styles, scripts and image files are requested from the site’s host.

Serving those requests necessarily exposes technical information to the hosting infrastructure, such as an IP address, request time, requested address and browser-provided headers. Hosting or security services may retain technical logs under their own operational settings. This page does not promise that visiting the site produces no server records or that infrastructure records have a particular deletion schedule.

The contact draft stays on your device

The contact tool constructs plain text in your browser. It does not transmit entered fields to a server or save them in localStorage. Drafts are held in the current page; your browser may independently restore form values or keep autofill data according to its settings.

Copying uses your browser’s Clipboard API where available. Downloading creates a local text file. Other software or device users may be able to access your clipboard or downloaded files. Clear or delete those copies if needed.

If you send an email

Sending a draft through your own email app is a separate action. We then receive the email address, message contents and information included by the email service. We use correspondence to answer inquiries, review corrections and address site-related issues. Email and hosting providers may process information as part of providing those services.

Please send only information needed for the inquiry. Do not send sensitive personal information or information about others without a suitable reason. Correspondence is kept only as reasonably needed for the inquiry, related records, security or legal obligations. We do not sell contact messages or use the drafting tool to build marketing lists.

Browser storage

The preference controls use the localStorage key jvb-cookie-choice to remember an optional-storage choice. It contains a preference value, not your contact fields. localStorage is separate from cookies and normally persists until it is cleared. See the Cookies and storage policy for controls and details.

Links and external services

External links lead to independent websites. Following one allows that destination to process your visit under its own policies. We do not control publisher, library, event, platform or email-provider privacy practices.

Your requests and choices

You can clear browser storage, decline optional storage and use the site without completing the contact fields. Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection or portability of personal information, and to complain to a relevant supervisory authority.

Send requests to [email protected] with enough detail to identify the correspondence concerned. We may need proportionate verification before disclosing or changing information. We cannot remove messages from your own mailbox, clipboard, downloads or independent third-party systems.

Children and policy changes

The site does not seek personal information from children. A parent or guardian who believes a child has sent unnecessary personal information may contact us to request review and deletion, subject to applicable obligations.

Material changes to site data handling should be reflected in this policy and its effective date. Review this page when using new site features.
